.:. Lee Ryan, ex-membre du grouple Blue ayant vendu 7 millions d'albums partout dans le monde, est né le 17 juin 1983 à Chatham dans le sud de Londres. Dès l'âge de 8 ans, il voulait devenir chanteur. Il prit des cours d'art dramatique mais ne supportait pas ses professeurs. Il a passé de nombreuses auditions et est apparu dans quelques feuilletons tels que Holby City. Ensuite, il rencontra Antony Costa et Duncan James, deux futurs membres du groupe Blue, lors d'un casting. Ils décidèrent de former un groupe et Lee fit appel à son colocataire, Simon Webbe et le groupe Blue était né! Après avoir été numéro 1 avec trois de leurs singles dont un avec Sir Elton John ["Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word"] ainsi que numéro 1 avec leurs albums, Lee décida fin de l'année dernière de se lancer dans une carrière solo. .:.

Lee participa à l'album Hope dont les fonds ont été versés en faveur des enfants victimes de la guerre en Irak. Il a écrit Stand Up As People dont les paroles lui tiennent tant à coeur et pour laquelle il s'est énormément investie, demandant même à Madonna, P!nk ou encore à Justin Timberlake de la chanter avec lui mais il refusèrent tous catégoriquement... NO COMMENT!
C'est donc seul qu'il apparaît au côté de Paul McCarteney, Avril Lavigne ainsi que George Michael sur l'album Hope.

Autre bonne action du blondinet : il a participé à une vente aux enchères dont les gains étaient reversés au profit de la recherche contre le SIDA. Il a dépensé 10.000£ pour acheter un costume d'Elton John et faire avancer les recherches.
